Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking for a Candidate to join their team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Geological/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Essential: Valid Driver’s License and Own Transport
• Beneficial: Post graduate degree.
• Eligible to register as a Pr.Eng or Pr.Sci.Nat (SA)
• Strong background in Project Management and Business Development.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the independent review of geotechnical design studies.
• Designing of geomechanical monitoring programs.
• Interpretation of geotechnical instrumentation data.
• Tasked with underground mine stability assessments.
• Tasked with geotechnical design of underground stope pillars, crown pillars, and backfill support.
• Performing ground control inspection.
• Audit designs.
